• Airdrie businesses honoured at 27th Regional Business Awards

    More than 200 members of Airdrie’s business community gathered Thursday night for the 27th Annual Airdrie Regional Business Awards, hosted by the Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce and presented by EllisDon.

    “The evening was truly fabulous,” Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce executive director Marilyne Aalhus said in a news release. “We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the finalists and winners, and our sincere gratitude to our sponsors, Chamber team, and many dedicated volunteers whose support made this memorable event possible.”

    The Chamber said 45 finalists were recognized at the gala, with awards presented in 10 categories.

    2025 winners

    • Emerging Business Award — The Sage Mustang. Recognizes a new business showing early success and community connection.

    • Community Attraction Award — Apple Creek Golf Course. Honours a business that helps draw visitors and residents to the region.

    • Community Spirit Award — Airdrie Health Foundation. Presented to a non-profit demonstrating exceptional commitment to serving the community.

    • Employer Excellence Award — Blue Grass Nursery, Sod & Garden Centre. Recognizes a company that prioritizes employee development and a positive workplace.

    • Exemplary Service Award — Funky Petals Airdrie. Honours a business known for outstanding customer service.

    • Greatest Impact Award — The Hair Lounge. Presented for significant contributions to community betterment.

    • Innovation Award — Hexagon Psychology. Recognizes leadership in introducing new ideas or approaches.

    • Legacy Business Award — Airdrie Alarm & Surveillance. Honours a locally owned company with sustained growth and long-term investment in the community.

    • Business of the Year — The Pest Control Guy Inc. Recognizes excellence, leadership, and long-term success.

    • Hugh Hamilton Business Leader Award — Blake Clark, Cam Clark Ford. Presented for outstanding business leadership and philanthropy.

    The Chamber said the awards celebrate local entrepreneurs, innovators, and organizations contributing to the region’s economic growth and community development.

    Founded in 1973, the Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce represents more than 600 businesses and non-profits, including 175 members from outside Airdrie. It is affiliated with both the Alberta and Canadian Chambers of Commerce.
