    We’re Hiring - Dog Care Specialists

    At Airdrie Puppy Pals, we are always looking to connect with passionate individuals interested in working with dogs. Our part-time Dog Care Specialist role is an active, hands-on position in our dog daycare, supporting group play, monitoring behavior, and creating a safe, positive experience for every dog in our care.

    No formal experience is required.

    We provide paid training, mentoring, and ongoing support. What matters most is a positive attitude, comfort working with dogs of all sizes, and a willingness to learn.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise group play for dogs of all sizes

    • Guide enrichment and one-on-one activities

    • Monitor dog behavior and group dynamics

    • Take daily photos and videos

    • Greet clients at drop-off and pick-up

    • Write personalized daily updates for dog parents

    • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment

    • Work collaboratively with team members

    What We’re Looking For

    We’re looking for reliable, energetic team members who enjoy working with both dogs and people.

    Applicants must:

    • Be at least 18 years of ag

    • Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license

    • Be comfortable with dogs of all sizes

    • Have strong communication and customer service skills

    • Bring a positive, team-oriented attitude

    • Be comfortable creating social media videos (training provided)

       

    Flexible availability is an asset. We are open 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.

    This is a physically active, hands-on role that includes walking dogs, lifting up to 30 lbs, using stairs, and standing for extended periods.
