CHAMBER ADVOCACY ROUNDTABLE - AIRDRIE
Join us for an important Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce Advocacy roundtable focused on the issues that matter most to you.
This session will bring Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce members together to identify key priorities, share perspectives, and shape collective solutions. It’s an opportunity to leverage the Chamber’s advocacy network to influence government decisions and strengthen the business environment in our region.
Your insights at this roundtable will directly inform the Chamber’s 2026 Advocacy Platform and guide our work on behalf of the regional business community. Findings will be presented to Airdrie City Council ahead of their upcoming strategic planning session.
Here’s how our advocacy works.- We receive feedback from our members at events such as this roundtable, and through regular communication.
- If the issue has a direct impact on our business community, we will develop a policy resolution which will be either brought forward to our municipality, or to our provincial and federal chamber networks where we collectively vote on policies.
- Our advocacy committee reviews the information to meet policies deadlines for the Alberta Chambers of Commerce and Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
- Once policies are submitted to different levels of government, our municipal chamber will advocate locally, whereas our provincial and federal chambers will advocate at their level of government. Note: All policies begin at the municipal chamber level.
