During the Holiday Luncheon, keynote speaker Usman Jutt, President & CEO of Chirp Foods and Owner/Operator of more than a dozen McDonald’s restaurants across Southern Alberta, will join Executive Director Marilyne Aalhus for an engaging fireside chat.

At the conclusion of the luncheon, guests with a VIP Upgrade will enjoy an exclusive opportunity to meet with Usman one-on-one, a conversational setting to ask questions, exchange ideas, and gain valuable insights from one of Alberta’s most inspiring business leaders.

We'll be collecting non-perishable food items for the Airdrie food bank if you'd like to bring a long a donation.

Speaker Background:
Usman Tahir Jutt is a father, philanthropist and entrepreneur who is passionate about building better communities and helping Albertans succeed in a rapidly changing world.

Usman purchased his first business while attending university in Camrose, Alberta; a struggling gas station that he successfully transformed into a thriving business. Building on that success, he founded a consultancy dedicated to helping gas stations across Canada improve profitability, working with clients such as Shell Canada, Parkland Fuel, and Husky Energy. In 2006, Usman became a retailer for Husky Energy, where he spent six years and won numerous awards for his leadership and dedication to the communities he served.

In 2013, Usman took on a new challenge and became the youngest owner-operator with McDonald's Canada. Today he proudly owns and operates more than a dozen restaurants in Calgary, Airdrie, Strathmore, Olds, and Innisfail, making him one of the largest employers of young people in Southern Alberta.

Usman operates his McDonald’s franchises through Chirp, a Calgary-based company known for pushing boundaries and thinking differently. From french fries to philanthropy, Chirp is focused on building a better Calgary, Alberta, and Canada. Usman is passionate about community building and removing barriers for non-profits, charities, organizations and people across Canada.

• an active Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce member (in good standing) for a minimum of two years. Chamber Ambassadors will have a strong knowledge of the Chamber's mandate and goals.
