  • 948 Brewing Company Ltd.

Many Airdrie residents will remember the days where all the phone numbers started with 948 and you did not have to dial the area code. 948 Brewing Company represents Airdrie and reflects on how things were and how it has grown today. We continue adding our story to Airdrie's timeline and to grow our roots in our community. 948 began by contract brewing in 2019 and finally opened the doors on our own space in March 2020. Since then we've brewed 36 different beers and continue to try new and exciting brews all the time.

  • Balzac Craft Brewing Company

Balzac Craft Brewing Company was born in 2017 after a conversation about creating a new legacy inspired us to follow a dream instead of living for the status quo. A long history in oil and gas has blessed our founders with opportunities to travel to so many incredible places. In each location, they made a point to seek out and enjoy great craft beers from local brewers. Throughout Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Quebec, Newfoundland, North Dakota, Texas, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and even in the United Kingdom, South America, and the Middle East they learned what made each beer and each brewer so unique. With so many memories made from so many flavors and locations, it was time to put these experiences to great use. We hope you will love what we have built as much as we have loved building it for you. Cheers, BCBC Team

  • Color Me Mine

I was given the opportunity approximately four years ago to purchase this location of Color Me Mine. My family and I relocated from Red Deer. We purchased a home here, my children attend school at Good Shephard and St Martins. I was lucky enough to work along side my daughters as we all learned about this family friendly and fun new adventure we were embarking on! This was our first business and we couldn't have chosen a better community to call home! We love Airdrie and the people we have met are amazing. Customers became friends. We have watched children grow up and have celebrated birthdays with them yearly. Like many business owners, this past year has been a challenge us but it has also taught valuable lessons and taught us to think of new creative ideas to keep our customers painting. We truly feel incredibly grateful for the support our community has given us, especially this past year.

  • Rival Axe Throwing

As a family-owned business, our heart desires to build strong community connections by creating a welcoming atmosphere where people feel joy, hope and belonging. We have a team that inspires families, friends and businesses to grow so they can further impact their community. Rival is thankful we can support and give back to the community by donating our time, resources and space to various charities and businesses to assist them in building connections in their organizations. Rival is the go to place in Airdrie to socialize, build relationships and feel victorious.

  • Rocket Fizz

Rocket Fizz is a unique mix of soda, candy, gags and gifts for any age and we pride ourselves on having items that are hard to find, nostalgic, or even weird; everyone needs a bottle of mustard soda, right?! A number of our engagements in the community may go unnoticed as we do not promote it in the media, we don't give back to those who need it and expect a return, anyone who benefited from our 'pay it forward' moments doesn't need to know where it came from just that there is people that care.
