After completing a Certificate in HSE with NAIT, she worked for TransAlta Corporation, Raytheon Canada, Wolf Construction, and with multiple smaller organizations over the years. Cherlyn incorporated SkyView Safety Consulting Corp. in August 2016 and it has grown into a successful small business supporting companies that are not large enough to hire a full-time safety employee but have need for assistance in managing their health and safety. Cherlyn met a career goal and obtained her Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation in July 2021, which is a gruelling process and is a recognized benchmark in the OHS profession. Cherlyn is dedicated to; building strong relationships in the field, understanding the importance of safety while recognizing the need for productivity, leading people well, and continuing to learn and grow personally and professionally.
