    Job Summary
    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Please do not apply if you are not eligible to legally work in Canada.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare the corporate year-ends and the corporate tax returns.
    • Oversee and manage all the bookkeeping of our clients and co-workers.
    • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks online, Xero and Wave for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
    • Prepare the compilation engagements using Caseware online.
    • Prepare GST and PST returns on a quarterly / annual basis.
    • Prepare monthly / quarterly Financial reports for clients and share the observations.
    • Perform account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial statements.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to provide training and maintaining a positive work environment.
    • Assist in the preparation of complex personal tax returns and T-slip submissions.
    • Communicate with clients on a regular basis.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks online and Xero.
    • Ability to wrap your head around different softwares.
    • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively within deadlines.
    • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization.

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
