              Join us for a virtual opportunity to connect with MNP LLP accounting professionals on how to navigate government subsidies pertaining to COVID-19.

              During this event, MNP LLP will review information on the revised government subsidies for businesses, including the Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy (CERS), Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS), and other provincial and federal programs. Topics covered during this event include eligibility requirements, how subsidies are calculated, and the application process, periods, dates and deadlines.

              Speaker Biographies:


              Brandy Horn is a Chartered Professional Accountant with MNP. She has worked in the Airdrie office for thirteen years and lived in the community for twenty years.  Brandy has more than 20 years of experience delivering a wide range of taxation and business advisory solutions to a diverse group of clients, primarily private companies.  She is currently the Treasurer with the Airdrie Health Foundation and has volunteered with other local groups in various roles.

              Carmen Jacoba-Haist started her accounting career with MNP in Drumheller, Alberta,  where she began her focus on Agriculture.  She transferred to the Airdrie office in 2010, where she continues to work with businesses and individuals of all sizes.  Carmen has been an active member of the community ever since moving to Airdrie.  She is currently the Treasurer of the Airdrie Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Rotary Club of Airdrie.
