2026 Legacy Business Award - Nomination Form
Thank you for taking the time to nominate a deserving business for the Legacy Award. Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged.
This award recognizes an independently owned and operated business that has demonstrated long-term success, sustainability, and a strong commitment to the local community. The business is deeply rooted in the region and shows consistent investment in people, partnerships, and place. It actively supports local causes, organizations, and initiatives, making community involvement a core part of its company values and overall business success.
Eligibility Criteria
- Please refer to the map located on the Award Process page (https://www.airdriechamber.ab.ca/aba-award-process) to ensure the business you are nominating is within the region the Chamber serves.
- Operating as a business for a minimum of 10 years.
- Nominees are not eligible if they have received this award within the past five years.
Award Criteria
- Longevity & Business Success - proven track record of financial stability, adaptability, and operational excellence over a decade or more.
- Local Economic Impact - ongoing contribution to the local economy through employment, mentorship, procurement, or business development.
- Community Investment - active and sustained support for local causes, charitable organizations, events, or community initiatives.
- Leadership & Reputation - recognized as a respected leader in the business community, with a reputation for integrity, reliability, and collaboration.
NOTES: Only one submission per business or organization is required to be nominated. Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged.
The ARBA planning committee reserves the right to reallocate nominees into the appropriate award category if they are determined to be ineligible in the Legacy Award category.
All nominations remain anonymous.
