Member Event: Experience Carmina Burana in a Family-Friendly Indoor Park Setting
You’re invited to a special collaboration between the Rocky Mountain Symphony Orchestra, Calgary Civic Symphony, Spiritus Choir, Mount Royal Kantorei, and members of the Calgary Philharmonic Chorus.
Event at a glance
- What: Carmina Burana — a huge, high-energy performance (100 orchestra + ~200 voices) in a spectacular indoor park setting
- When: Saturday, Nov 1 — doors open at 3:00 p.m.; one-hour concert 4:00–5:00 p.m. (no intermission)
- Where: Vivo for Healthier Generations – Indoor Park (11950 Country Village Link NE)
- Tickets: Adults $35; Students/Seniors $20
- Bring: Your kids, grandparents, parents, neighbours, friends, a lawn chair or picnic blanket (family-friendly, casual)
If you can’t make it, would you consider sponsoring student tickets at $20 each so students from NE Calgary high school music programs can attend? Just purchase the tickets and email the e-tickets to Nelda Schulte (RMSO ED) at executivedirector@rmso.ca and she’ll allocate them to the schools.
