Workshops:
3:30 PM Resume Basics
When it comes to resumes “one size doesn’t fit all”. There are many styles of resumes, make sure you are using the right one for your job search. In this this workshop you will learn which resume is best for your job search and why you should “target” it for each position. Learn which type of skills will best sell your experience. We will also discuss why your ‘internet template” may be keeping you from having employers read your resume.
4:30 PM Interviewing Basics
This is your chance to “sell” your skills to an employer, make sure you don’t waste this opportunity. Do you know the difference between a “standard Question” and a “behavioral question”? We will show you how to answer both types of questions. We will discuss interview preparation, first impressions and the importance of “learning your lines”.
There will also be a booth onsite for 5 Minute Resume Review and printing of resumes if needed.
