SUMMARY:Member Event - Coldest Night of the Year
DESCRIPTION:On February 25\, 2023\, join Airdrie P.O.W.E.R. in participating in the Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser walk. Then each team member asks their friends\, family\, coworkers\, and neighbours to sponsor them by donating.\n\nThen we all come together on Feb. 25 to participate in the walk\, and celebrate with a meal afterwards!\n\nJoin by signing up a team\, or signing up to walk on a team or as an individual! Go to: https://cnoy.org/location/airdrie\n\nDomestic violence is one of the main causes of homelessness among Canadian families. Women\, in particular\, have been identified as among the fastest growing groups in the homeless and at-risk population. Fleeing an abusive partner is a factor in women becoming\, and remaining\, homeless\, as it is unsafe to live with or return to an abusive partner.
