This beginner-friendly workshop will guide you through the foundations of landscape design and help you start creating a plan tailored to your own space.\n\nWhat you'll learn:\n\n\n	\n	Principles of design (unity\, balance\, scale\, rhythm\, and form)\n	\n	\n	Colour theory and plant material function\n	\n	\n	The step-by-step design process: site analysis\, base maps\, bubble diagrams\, and concept planning\n	\n	\n	How to confidently select plant material\n	\n\n\nYou'll also begin sketching ideas for your own yard during class\, with guided instruction and time for questions.\n\nWhat to bring:\n\n\n	\n	A real property report or \n	\n	\n	A sketch of your yard with basic measurements\n	\n\n\nWe will photocopy it for you so you can sketch directly on the copy during the workshop.\n\n All materials and workshop supplies are included. Blue Grass reserves the right to cancel the workshop within 48 hours due to low enrollment.
