DESCRIPTION:Cyber Crime\n\n\n\nWe are pleased to welcome Daniel De Castro\, Cyber Security Manager at MNP.  He is a seasoned IT and security professional with over 20 years of experience.  Daniel specializes in cyber security assessments and penetration testing (ethical hacking).\n\n\n\nDaniel holds both a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Calgary\, where his research covered various aspects of computer security\, with particular focus on anti-malware technologies and operating system security.  He has completed Industrial Control Systems (ICS) cyber security training from the US Department of Homeland Security\, applying extensive hands-on training on how to protect and secure ICS from cyber attacks.\n\n\n\nDaniel has been published and has presented at international conferences and workshops.  He has also been a seasonal instructor at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) teaching a course on malware\, incident response and digital forensics. \n\n\n\nDaniel will share his expertise in cyber security\, speaking specifically to:\n\n	Cyber security landscape\n	Common cyber threats\n	Mitigation strategies\n	Trends and the year ahead
