He continues to serve as Government House leader and previously served as the Minister of Tourism and Sport.\n\n\n\nPrior to his service as an elected official\, Hon. Schow worked as a legislative coordinator with the Legislative Assembly of Alberta and as a parliamentary assistant with the House of Commons of Canada. He was self-employed for several years prior to this experience.\n\nHon. Schow holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian from Dalhousie University and a master's degree from George Washington University.\n\n\n\nHis interests and hobbies include spending time with family\, attending sporting events\, watching movies and reading. Hon. Schow speaks conversational Russian. He and his wife\, Nicole\, have 3 children.\n\n\n\nHonourable Joseph Schow was first elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Cardston-Siksika on April 16\, 2019 and was re-elected on May 29\, 2023.\n\n\n\n\n\nChamber Ambassador Program:\n\nThis event offers our Chamber Ambassador Program!\n\n\n\nChamber Ambassadors must be:\n\n\n	an active Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce member (in good standing) for a minimum of two years.
