SUMMARY:CHAMBER ADVOCACY ROUNDTABLE
DESCRIPTION:Join the Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce advocacy committee to have a conversation about what's important to you! Use the Chamber network to influence government and create solutions for our business community.\n\n \n\nThis round table discussion with our members will help us to form our 2024 advocacy platform. \n\n \n\nHere's how our advocacy works. \n\n	We receive feedback from our members at events such as this roundtable\, and through regular communication.\n	Our advocacy committee reviews the information to meet policies deadlines for the Alberta Chambers of Commerce and Canadian Chamber of Commerce.\n	If the issue has a direct impact on our business community\, we will develop a policy resolution which will be either brought forward to our municipality\, or to our provincial and federal chamber networks where we collectively vote on policies. \n	Once policies are submitted to different levels of government\, our municipal chamber will advocate locally\, whereas our provincial and federal chambers will advocate at their level of government. Note: All policies begin at the municipal chamber level. \n\nPlease note that we require the support of industry experts to draft policies that are brought to government. We ask that you come prepared with information and resources to make policies strategic and effective. We don't just want to hear what the issue is\, we also need to provide answers on how to solve it! \n\n \n\nRegistration is limited to 18 members to ensure everyone is being heard and has a chance to speak\, so sign up quickly while space is available! \n\n \n\nClick here to view our Alberta Chamber of Commerce 2023 Policy Book\n\nClick here to view our Canadian Chamber of Commerce 2023 Policy Resolutions
