1. Member Services

• Develop a program to increase membership by promoting value of Chamber membership.
• Organize and promote the following:
  • General Membership Committee – visiting new businesses, arranging new member orientation, being the new member liaison at meetings, etc.
  • Luncheon Committee - arrange menu, venue, speaker and networking format for monthly business lunches.
  • Seminars Committee - arrange venue, speaker, format, etc.
    

2. Signs Committee

• Administration of Fun Map located at Twin Arenas - rented on an annual basis.
• Administration of Hi-way sign situated off Highway #2 - rented under long-term contracts.

3. Home and Garden Fair Committee

• Over 170 booths held on the last weekend in April each year.

4. Special Events Committee

• Organize and promote Annual Moonlite Madness.
• Organize and promote Annual Golf Classic.
• Organize and promote Business After Hours.

5. Small Business Week Committee Representative

• The Airdrie Chamber of Commerce is a member of the Airdrie Business Resource Partnership which is a partnership of organizations who offer business services and resources to new and established businesses in Airdrie and area.

6. Policy/Issues Committee

• To develop Chamber position on issues of current interest to the Airdrie business community.
• To present Chamber position to appropriate regulatory bodies.

7. Strategic Plan Committee

• To implement and update the strategic plan for the Chamber.
